Birrillee Vale is a Dunghutti woman from Armidale NSW. Birrillee brings a wealth of organisational and administration experience, working in the private and NFP sectors, alongside government, and collaborating closely with Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Birrillee applies her cultural knowledge with her lived and learned experiences, to support the broader Murawin Team and create impact that empowers Indigenous Australians and other marginalised groups.
Birrillee Vale was appointed as Murawin’s Executive Assistant in August 2021.
Birrillee is the first point of contact between Murawin’s CEO and the consultancy’s internal and external stakeholders. She assists in coordinating executive correspondence, including the challenging job of managing the CEO’s busy schedule. Birrillee also supports with organising Murawin’s events, administration and accounting.
Birrillee holds a Certificate III in Business Administration, as well as a Certificate II in Hospitality, and is currently completing a Bachelor of Education (K-6). She has around 20 years’ experience spanning the hospitality industry, business administration, State and Federal Government, and employment services. Prior to joining Murawin, Birrillee worked for Work Ventures Ltd, Medicare Australia, Department of Education, Jobfind, and Armidale Family Support Services.
